Creative Development
Game Designer
- A games designer says what the game does and how the will play. The plan the game and create all elements of the game, Such as:"structure; rules; story flow; characters; the objects, props, vehicles, and devices available to the characters; interface design; and modes of play." When the game is planned out correctly, the designers tell other teams who will create certain parts of the game's idea.
Level Editor
- "The Level Editor defines and creates interactive architecture for a segment of a game, including the landscape, buildings and objects."
- Level editors are the people who make the world for the player to move around in, they make everything that the player will be interacting within the game, this could be anything to houses, trees, etc.
Lead Artist
- "The Lead Artist (also known as Art Director or Creative Manager) is responsible for the overall look of the game. - The lead artist makes sure that the other artist do what they need to do, the lead has to ensure that the other artist work to a schedule
Technical Artist

- The technical artist makes sure that the artist and the programmers are working well together this makes it so if the artist want to get designs from the [programmers so that they know how it'll be implemented into the game. They'll work on the engine and lighting, special effects.
Artist
- "Artists create the visual elements of a game, such as characters, scenery, objects, vehicles, surface textures, clothing, props, and even user interface components. - The games artist creates the textures for the game, this is all of objects that the level editor creates, they have to create a mask for that object then send it to the artists, who then create the image that fits the mask.
Animator
- "Animation Directors are responsible for the quality of the animation, for keeping it on brief and for delivering consistent performances by assigning, or casting, the appropriate Animators. - Animators listen to the animation director, they do any job that the director tells them, the director can assign each one of them a different job. The animators create images the when recorded in a sequence create a video.
Audio Engineer
- "The Audio Engineer creates the soundtrack for a game. This might include music, sound effects to support the game action (such as gunshots or explosions), character voices and other expressions, spoken instructions, and ambient effects, such as crowd noise, vehicles or rain."
- Audio Engineers creates sounds for games, the sounds can be anything from speech to water dripping. they produce the sound to work well with the designers to get it to sound correct with the animation. they make the sound compact to fit in to game so it does not take a large file size to download.
Technical Development
Game Programmer
- "Game Programmers work at the heart of the game development process. They design and write the computer code that runs and controls the game, incorporating and adapting any ready-made code libraries and writing custom code as required. They test the code and fix bugs, and also develop customised tools for use by other members of the development team."

- Programmers are the people who work with the coding design of the game, they program the base of the game such as how the level works and what happens when you walk into somewhere, they pretty much build the base for you and everyone else to put there work into.
- They can either use custom code or use someone else's code, but this way they have to ask the other persons permission.
Lead Game Programmer
Project Implementation
- "The Lead Programmer leads the programming team responsible for creating all the computer code which runs and controls a game. Programmers have various roles and specialisms including AI (artificial intelligence), game engine development, user interface, tools development and physics. - The lead programmer is the one who is responsible for creating all the computer code, he/she control the programmers who then work on a part that the lead gives to them.
Project Manager/Producer
Assistant Producer
- "The Assistant (or Junior) Producer works with a game's production staff to ensure the timely delivery of the highest quality product possible. "
- The assistant producers are recruited by the publishers, they are involved with the Project manager help them out with what they project manager needs to do.
- "The Assistant Producer's role and responsibilities change during the development process, as different elements of the game are created. Important aspects of the job can include task and milestone planning and tracking, as well as handling review and approval processes."

External Producer
Creative Director
- "The Creative Director is the key person during the game development process, overseeing any high-level decisions that affect how the game plays, looks or sounds."

- The creative director is the main person to got to, they oversee everything, They focus on ensuring the quality of the games outcome. They're the people who need to make sure everyone else, is doing everything correctly.
Quality Assurance
QA Tester
- "Quality Assurance Technicians, or Testers, perform a vital role. They test, tune, debug and suggest the detailed refinements that ensure the quality and playability of the finished game."

- They are the ones who test the games, by playing them, they have to go through the game and write down everything that is wrong with the game, this gets sent to the developers so they can check this in the game then if necessary fix it.

Product Manager
- "The Product Manager's role is to help create and implement marketing campaigns to maximise the sales of the games they are working on."

- The product managers work for the publishers, or independent marketing company, they also have to come up with long term solutions for game franchises, so they know how the game will progress over time.
